Jasmine Chanel Wiley, age 31, passed away on July 26, 2026, in Spring, Texas. Born on December 20, 1994, in Columbia, Missouri, Jasmine brought light and joy to all who knew her throughout her life.

In 2013, Jasmine pursued her education in Biology at Wiley College and then Texas State University. This is where she cultivated the skills and determination that would define her. She worked as an Assistant General Manager at Taco Bell, a role in which her dedication and leadership abilities showed brightly.

A devoted mother, Jasmine is survived by her beloved children, Aaliyah Wiley and Journey Wiley. She also leaves behind her loving mother Michelle Wiley and stepfather Monte Carlo Jackson; her maternal sibling Xavier Wiley-Jackson, her father Clyde Lockett;,her paternal siblings LaShay Hinkle, Sharelle Farr, Sharesa Knighten, Chanel Lockett, Deandre Lockett, and Cayla Lockett; as well as many others who cherished her deeply. Jasmine was predeceased by her maternal grandparents Virginia Wiley and Willie C. Wiley; paternal grandmother Renee Lockett; and paternal sibling Clyde Lockett Jr.

Jasmine had a love for the beach and would travel on any occasion that she could. She had an undeniable skill in beauty and creativity. She loved doing makeup, eyebrows, and nails—expressions of her artistic spirit that brought joy to herself and others. Baptized as a Missionary Baptist at a young age, Jasmine carried a quiet strength rooted in faith throughout her life.

Known for her charming personality, courageous spirit, laid-back demeanor, go-getter attitude, and radiant smile, Jasmine left an indelible mark on everyone she encountered. Her memory will forever be cherished by those who were fortunate enough to know her.

May Jasmine's legacy of love and resilience continue to inspire all who hold her in their hearts. Ceremonies were held on August 8, 2026, at Grace Temple Church 6503 W. Montgomery Rd. Houston Tx 77091. The Visitation held at 01:00 PM followed by the Celebration of Life held at 02:00 PM and the Repast to follow.
